The CIA had designed and manufactured a GIJoe like action figure of Osama Bin Laden in 2005. The Project, known as “Devil Eyes” was to feature a heat dissolving face which when peeled back showed a red devil painted image with glaring green eyes.

The idea was to hand out the 12″ “toys” to village children in “care packs”, blue for boys, pink for girls, in an attempt to win hearts and minds.

The Agency used a well known toy manufacturer Donald Levine who was behind the original GIJoe.

Bendigo – the town that said “NO” to Islam (and failed)

More than 200 Bendigo residents have voiced their opposition to the Bendigo City Council approving plans for the construction of a $3 million Mosque in the eastern part of the town.

There were some 350 objections to the development and more than 40 submissions of support.

If you’re Muslim and you want a mosque, go back to the Middle East. This is Australia,”

One example of the type of Islam-a-phobia that grips the region along with a  deep ignorance towards the unknown.

Regardless the Council has approved the construction, with some changes in the height of the minaret for example, and no prayer calls.

Bendigo people own Bendigo, it’s their town, they have the right to say mosque or no mosque,”

We’re not racists.”  were common threads heard at the meeting.

The International students which come to Bendigo to study at the near by La Trobe Uni make up a large part of the Muslim Population in Bendigo.

A Mosque in Bendigo would be a great asset..and lets face it, Bendigo needs all it can get.

UPDATE 28 June 2014

Restore Australia has paid for a Sydney lawyer often used in anti-mosque hearings, Robert Balzola, to appeal to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal on planning grounds.

Who Is More Exceptional: The United States or Russia?

In Archive, News, NWO, Russia, USA on June 12, 2014 at 4:41 AM

by William Blum   |  June 9, 2014

President Barack Obama greets cadets after delivering a speech on Afghanistan at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in West Point, N.Y., Dec. 1, 2009. More recently, he spoke at the commencement ceremony on May 28, 2014. (Pete Souza/White House)

I was going to write a commentary about President Obama’s speech to the graduating class at the US Military Academy (West Point) on May 28. When he speaks to a military audience the president is usually at his most nationalistic, jingoist, militaristic, and American-exceptionalist – wall-to-wall platitudes. But this talk was simply too nationalistic, jingoist, militaristic, and American-exceptionalist. (“I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being.”) To go through it line by line in order to make my usual wise-ass remarks, would have been just too painful. However, if you’re in a masochistic mood and wish to read his speech, it can be found here.

Instead I offer you part of a commentary from Mr. Jan Oberg, Danish director of the Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research in Lund, Sweden:

What is in conspiracy lacking in the President’s West Point speech?

  1. Any reasonably accurate appraisal of the world and the role of other nations.
  2. A sense of humility and respect for allies and other countries in this world.
  3. Every element of a grand strategy for America for its foreign and security policy and some kind of vision of what a better world would look like. This speech with all its tired, self-aggrandizing rhetoric is a thin cover-up for the fact that there is no such vision or overall strategy.
  4. Some little hint of reforms of existing institutions or new thinking about globalization and global democratic decision-making.
  5. Ideas and initiatives – stretched-out hands – to help the world move towards conflict-resolution in crisis areas such as Ukraine, Syria, Libya, China-Japan and Iran. Not a trace of creativity.

Ironically, on May 30 the Wall Street Journal published a long essay by Leon Aron, a Russia scholar at the conservative American Enterprise Institute in Washington. The essay took Russian president Vladimir Putin to task for claiming that Russia is exceptional. The piece was headed:

“Why Putin Says Russia Is Exceptional”

“Such claims have often heralded aggression abroad and harsh crackdowns at home.”

It states: “To Mr. Putin, in short, Russia was exceptional because it was emphatically not like the modern West – or not, in any event, like his caricature of a corrupt, morally benighted Europe and U.S. This was a bad omen, presaging the foreign policy gambits against Ukraine that now have the whole world guessing about Mr. Putin’s intentions.”

So the Wall Street Journal has no difficulty in ascertaining that a particular world leader sees his country as “exceptional”. And that such a perception can lead that leader or his country to engage in aggression abroad and crackdowns at home. The particular world leader so harshly judged in this manner by the Wall Street Journal is named Vladimir Putin, not Barack Obama. There’s a word for this kind of analysis – It’s called hypocrisy.

“Hypocrisy is anything whatever may deceive the cleverest and most penetrating man, but the least wide-awake of children recognizes it, and is revolted by it, however ingeniously it may be disguised.” – Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoi, (1828-1910) Russian writer

Is hypocrisy a moral failing or a failing of the intellect?

The New Cold War is getting to look more and more like the old one, wherein neither side allows the other to get away with any propaganda point. Just compare any American television network to the Russian station broadcast in the United States – RT (formerly Russia Today). The contrast in coverage of the same news events is remarkable, and the stations attack and make fun of each other by name.

Another, even more important, feature to note is that in Cold War I the United States usually had to consider what the Soviet reaction would be to a planned American intervention in the Third World. This often served as a brake to one extent or another on Washington’s imperial adventures. Thus it was that only weeks after the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, the United States bombed and invaded Panama, inflicting thousands of casualties and widespread destruction, for the flimsiest – bordering on the non-existent – of reasons.  The hostile Russian reaction to Washington’s clear involvement in the overthrow of the Ukrainian government in February of this year, followed by Washington’s significant irritation and defensiveness toward the Russian reaction, indicates that this Cold War brake may have a chance of returning. And for this we should be grateful.

After the “communist threat” had disappeared and the foreign policy of the United States continued absolutely unchanged, it meant that the Cold War revisionists had been vindicated – the conflict had not been about containing an evil called “communism”; it had been about American expansion, imperialism, and capitalism. If the collapse of the Soviet Union did not result in any reduction in the American military budget, but rather was followed by large increases, it meant that the Cold War – from Washington’s perspective – had not been motivated by a fear of the Russians, but purely by ideology.

Hillary Clinton to Star at Marjorie Margolies Event

It represents the first political activity Clinton — a potential 2016 Democratic presidential contender — has engaged in this year.

The event is being hosted by Lynn Forester de Rothschild, and the host committee is stacked with other supporters of Clinton, such as Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel and Jill Iscol, according to a copy of the invitation. It will be held at de Rothschild’s midtown Manhattan home, not in the state where Margolies is campaigning.

Still, coming on the heels of a fundraiser Bill Clinton is doing for her, it’s a signal of ramped-up activity. Margolies is the mother of Chelsea Clinton’s husband, Marc Mezvinsky.

Clinton aides didn’t immediately respond to an email for comment.

Margolies lost her old congressional seat in Pennsylvania after being the deciding vote on Bill Clinton’s 1993 budget, which was highly controversial.

What Secrets Lie Within 27 Boxes of New 9/11 Documents Discovered in Florida?

In Archive, Conspiracy, Illuminati, News, NWO, USA on May 6, 2014 at 5:18 AM

On the heels of a Freedom of Information lawsuit seeking records about the FBI’s reportedly secret investigation into apparent pre-9/11 terrorist activity with connections to the Saudi royal family, the bureau doesn’t appear in a hurry to release the 27 boxes of records a federal judge ordered it to turn over, according to the
Broward Bulldog investigative news site, which filed the FOIA suit.

The Justice Department determined that the office of U.S. District Judge William J. Zloch — who ordered delivery of the documents for his personal inspection — lacks a safe with “storage capability for classified documents.”

But the government has a solution.

“The plan at present is to deliver the safe [which can hold four boxes] on Thursday, May 1, 2014, along with the first four boxes of classified materials,” Miami Assistant U.S. Attorney Dexter Lee said. “When the court has completed its review of the four boxes, chambers will be contacted and I will deliver four more boxes, as well as retrieving the material already reviewed.”

Lee added that he’ll deliver to the court on Friday CD-ROMs containing scanned versions of the classified documents.

If the government’s delivery plan is approved, it would delay the judge’s inspection by weeks or months, the Broward Bulldog noted, adding that Zloch had ordered photocopies of the FBI’s entire 9/11 Tampa file all at once.

And about those 27 boxes? That’s a new total. A senior FBI official stated under oath two weeks ago that there are 23 boxes of documents in the Tampa bureau — but the FBI has just identified four additional boxes of “classified” 9/11 documents, bringing the total to 27 boxes.

There was no explanation for the apparent numerical discrepancy.

FBI records section chief David M. Hardy told the court that the Tampa bureau’s 9/11 “sub file” was “comprised of 23 boxes of records” including “a substantial, but undetermined amount of material classified at the ‘secret’ level.”

More from the Broward Bulldog:

The FBI probe that is the focus of the Freedom of Information lawsuit investigated a Saudi family with ties to the Royal Family and apparent connections to some of the 9/11 hijackers, including ringleader Mohamed Atta, and former Broward resident and currently suspected al Qaeda leader Adnan Shukrijumah.

The investigation began after neighbors in the upscale south Sarasota gated community of Prestancia called authorities to report that Abulaziz al-Hijji and his wife, Anoud, had suddenly moved out of their home two weeks before 9/11, leaving behind cars, furniture, clothing and food in the kitchen.

Sources have said agents later found gatehouse logs and photographs of license tags and phone records, showing that Atta, Shukrijumah and others had visited the al-Hijji’s home.

Mohamed Atta

Indeed, al-Hijji and his wife flew to Saudi Arabia in August 2001, leaving three cars at their home — one of them new — the refrigerator full of food, furniture and clothing inside the residence…even the swimming pool water was still circulating, according to the Daily Telegraph.

“…apparent connections to some of the 9/11 hijackers, including ringleader Mohamed Atta.”

Share:

Al-Hijji was quoted last year saying he condemned the terror attacks and had no involvement in them. The FBI has said as much, noting publicly that its Sarasota investigation found no evidence connecting Al-Hijji’s family to the hijackers or the 9/11 plot.

Broward Bulldog noted that the FBI kept the investigation secret until the news outfit first disclosed it in September 2011. Its FOIA lawsuit was filed in September 2012 after the FBI denied requests to inspect records about the investigation. In March 2013, the government unexpectedly released more than two-dozen heavily censored records “that nevertheless undercut the Bureau’s previous public denials,” Broward Bulldog noted.

More from Broward Bulldog:

The documents state that the Sarasota Saudis had “many connections” to “individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.” One document lists three individuals, with names blacked out, and ties them to the Venice, Florida flight school where suicide hijackers Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi trained.

Last week, the government provided 27 pages of classified documents to Judge Zloch that bear the blanked out case number affixed to the April 16, 2002 FBI report disclosing the family’s “many connections” to terrorists.
